Name pronounced like Mary-Chris, but you can call me Mari. California born, Florida raised, but Pennsylvania living. I've been working in the customer service space for over twelve years and have learned that I am indeed a people person! Whether it was recommending books at my high school job at Barnes and Noble or assisting passengers find their lost bags at Spirit Airlines, I've had the affinity for wanting to help people. It makes sense then that my degree is in psychology - wanting to know why individuals are the way they are and using that knowledge to better assist them in their needs.
I recently joined Jesse at CPIP in October 2020, which was my first deep dive into the world of insurance. As each day passes and as I learn more and more about the industry, I've grown to love what I do - especially when I'm able to talk to our clients and develop that bond. Like our namesake, we're partners with them after all.
When I'm not crushing it at work, I'm at home cooking dinner for my husband Scott who is currently finishing up his PhD at Penn State, and being a dog mom to our chocolate lab/doberman mix Georgie. I've also started long-boarding, which has been a dream of mine since middle school. Other hobbies include shopping (does that count?), singing along and dancing to my favorite songs, finding new places to eat, and watching anime (some things never die).
